Platform Disclaimer: TijarahOnline provides the technology platform only. Each store on TijarahOnline is independently owned and operated by its respective merchant. TijarahOnline is NOT a party to any transaction between merchants and their customers. We do not control product quality, pricing, shipping timelines, or merchant conduct. Any dispute, fraud, misrepresentation, or loss arising from a purchase is the sole responsibility of the merchant, not TijarahOnline. By using any store on our platform, you acknowledge and accept this.
1. What TijarahOnline Is
TijarahOnline is a multi-tenant ecommerce platform that enables merchants in Pakistan to create, customize, and operate their own online stores. We provide the technology, hosting, payment integrations, and tools. Each merchant is an independent business responsible for their own products, services, and customer relationships.
2. Merchant Responsibilities
As a merchant on TijarahOnline, you agree to:
- Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing
- Fulfill orders promptly and honestly
- Handle customer complaints, returns, and refunds in accordance with your own store policies
- Comply with all applicable Pakistani laws, including consumer protection and tax regulations
- Not sell prohibited items (see Section 3)
- Keep your account credentials secure — you are responsible for all activity under your account
3. Prohibited Content & Products
The following are prohibited on TijarahOnline:
- Counterfeit, stolen, or illegally obtained goods
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
- Drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
- Adult or sexually explicit content
- Products that infringe on intellectual property or trademarks
- Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or fraudulent offers
- Any product or service prohibited under Pakistani law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any store found violating these rules without notice.
4. Subscription & Payments
- Pricing: We charge a flat monthly subscription fee only. Zero sales commission on any plan.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly. Annual plans are available at a discounted rate.
- Free plan: The Free plan has product and order limits but is genuinely free — no hidden charges.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your store remains accessible until the end of the current billing period.
- Payment gateway fees: Transaction fees charged by JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or other payment providers are between you and those providers. TijarahOnline does not add any markup.
5. Data Ownership
- Merchants own their customer data, product catalog, order records, and branding assets
- You can export your data (customers, products, orders) as CSV at any time
- We do not sell, share, or monetize merchant or customer data
- Upon account cancellation, data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted
6. Platform Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for any lost sales, revenue, or business opportunities due to platform downtime.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- TijarahOnline is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform
- We are not responsible for the actions, products, or services of any merchant on the platform
- We are not responsible for payment disputes between customers and merchants
- We are not responsible for shipping delays, damaged goods, or unfulfilled orders — these are the merchant's responsibility
- Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 12 months
8. Customer-Merchant Disputes
If a customer has a dispute with a merchant regarding an order, product quality, refund, or any other matter:
- The customer should contact the merchant directly first
- TijarahOnline may assist in mediation if contacted at support@tijarahonline.com, but we are not obligated to resolve disputes
- We reserve the right to suspend a merchant's store if we receive credible evidence of fraud, scams, or repeated consumer complaints
9. Intellectual Property
The TijarahOnline platform, logo, design, and codebase are the property of TijarahOnline. Merchants retain ownership of their own brand assets, product images, and content uploaded to their stores.
10. Account Termination
- By you: Cancel anytime from your merchant dashboard or by emailing support
- By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or receive persistent consumer complaints — with or without prior notice depending on severity
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered merchants. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Karachi, Sindh.
