A large share of Pakistani buyers would rather ask a question on WhatsApp than fill in a checkout form, especially on a first purchase. Making that easy usually increases sales rather than cannibalising them.
Step by step
- Turn on the WhatsApp button. In Store Editor, enable the WhatsApp contact button and enter your number in full international format, for example
+923001234567. - Set the opening message. Set the message that is pre-filled when a customer taps it, so their first message already says what they are looking at.
- Answer quickly. Speed matters more than polish on WhatsApp. A reply within minutes converts far better than a perfect reply an hour later.
- Record the order. When a customer agrees to buy, create the order in Orders. Stock is adjusted, the customer is saved, and delivery and status updates work as normal.

Common questions
Does the WhatsApp button cost anything?
No. It is a normal WhatsApp chat link and works on every plan.
Should I push people to checkout instead?
Offer both. Some buyers will never use a checkout form on a store they do not know yet, and a WhatsApp conversation is often what earns that first order.
How do I record a WhatsApp order?
Orders → create a new order with the customer's details and items. It then behaves exactly like a storefront order.
