You do not have to connect a courier to start selling — you can take orders and arrange delivery yourself. Connecting one saves you retyping every address into a courier portal.
Step by step
- Open an account with the courier. Sign up as a business customer with Leopards, TCS or PostEx and ask them for API access. They give you an API Key, an API Secret and an Account Number.
- Open courier settings. In your dashboard go to Settings → Courier Settings.
- Turn on your courier. Toggle on the courier you use. Each one has a How to Set Up dialog explaining where each value comes from.
- Paste the credentials. Enter the API Key, API Secret and Account Number. Leave Test Mode on while you try it.
- Book a test shipment. Open a real order and book it. There is no "Test Connection" button, so booking one shipment is the only real check.
- Go live. Once a booking works, turn Test Mode off and Save.
Choosing between them
Compare three things for your own situation, not just the headline rate: the price for your typical parcel weight, coverage in the cities you actually ship to, and how quickly they remit your COD money. That last one affects your cash flow more than a few rupees per parcel.
Common questions
Do I need a courier account to sell?
No. You can deliver yourself or book parcels manually. Connecting a courier just removes the copying of addresses.
Can I use more than one courier?
Yes. Connect several, and add them to your shipping zones so different areas or weights use different couriers.
